FIFA confirmed in a statement that the sanction is suspended for a one-year probationary period under article 27, which allows a disciplinary measure to be suspended.

The Monaco forward was sent off against Bosnia-Herzegovina in a 2-0 win in the World Cup round of 32 for an accidental stamp on an opponent’s heel.

He had earlier scored his third goal of the tournament.

He had initially been set to miss the last 16 tie as a result.

He is now available to face Belgium in the last 16 on Tuesday in Seattle.
