Brighton star Yasin Ayari is attracting interest from around Europe, and AC Milan are one of two clubs that have been linked.
Ayari began playing football with the youth academy of Råsunda at the age of six, before moving two years later to join Swedish giants AIK. He signed his first professional contract with them in 2021, until 2025, but then a couple of years after that he headed to Brighton.
The diminutive midfielder made his debut in England on 19 March, coming on as a 78th minute substitute replacing Alexis Mac Allister in a the FA Cup, while his first Premier League start came on 28 May that season.
According to Football Insider, sources have told them that Milan and Borussia Dortmund are in the running to sign Ayari, with the ‘two sides are now ready to test Brighton’s resolve’.
He is only under contract at the Amex Stadium until June 2027 and last season he spent time on loan at Blackburn Rovers and Coventry City in the Championship, but is now getting regular Premier League minutes.

The 21-year-old has made 28 appearances across all competitions for the Seagulls, amassing one assist, playing both as a defensive midfielder and as more of a creative midfielder under their first-year coach Fabian Hurzeler.
It is possible he might be viewed as a replacement for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has been plagued with injuries since arriving and was mentioned as a sale candidate earlier today.
