Tottenham Hotspur remain without a Premier League victory this season after being held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Spurs dominated possession early on but struggled to create clear openings, with Omar Marmoush dragging an effort wide after beating Neco Williams. Forest gradually grew into the contest, while Liam Delap went close on his first start for the hosts.

Tottenham’s best opening came after the break when Micky van de Ven headed wide from close range.

Forest then thought they had taken the lead in controversial circumstances. Antonín Kinsky got a hand to Gibbs-White’s attempted chip, but the ball continued towards the empty net. Sandro Tonali and Jan Paul van Hecke both tried to clear before Neco Williams bundled it over the line.

However, VAR ruled the goal out after deciding Williams had used his arm.

Forest continued to threaten, while Tottenham struggled to create anything clear. Mohammed Kudus eventually delivered a late cross for Dominic Solanke, but the striker headed over.

The draw gives Tottenham their first point of the campaign, but they remain without a goal after three league games. Forest are also still searching for their first victory under Oliver Glasner.
