Blackburn Rovers look set to bring in Ryan Alebiosu from Kortrijk. The defender is currently in the UK having a medical with the Lancashire based club as he brings a two year stay in Belgium to a close. The former Arsenal youth prospect leaves Kortrijk without ever having really broken into the first team and become a regular favourite with the club.

Alebiosu joined Kortrijk back in 2023 from Arsenal. The now 23-year-old defender never made a first team appearance for the Premier League side, instead spending time out on loan at both Crewe and Kilmarnock. Over two seasons Alebiosu made 25 appearances for Kortrijk, providing three assists. He spent the second half of the 2024/2025 campaign on loan with St Mirren. Back in Scotland, the defender had a better time of it with 14 appearances and one assist.

Alebiosu will join up with another former Kortrijk man in Dion De Neve. In one window, Blackburn look to have signed the two fastest players that Kortrijk had in their squad.
