A one-time member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is all set to take his talents to Saudi Arabia.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the player in question.
Frontman Aubameyang, for his part, is fresh off a stellar individual campaign.
After making the move to France with Olympique Marseille, the Gabonese international racked up a head-turning 30 goals and 11 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.
It will, in turn, no doubt mark a blow for those of a Marseille persuasion to hear that Aubameyang looks all set to depart for the riches of the Saudi Pro League.
As per the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano:
‘Olympique Marseille are prepared to let Pierre Emerick Aubameyang leave the club to join Al Qadsiah.’
A contract through the summer of 2026 is awaiting ‘Auba’ in Khobar, where the former Arsenal and Chelsea man will link up with a recently-departed Real Madrid star, in Nacho.
