Telstar have added to their squad with former Bayern Munich youngster Emirhan Demircan joining on loan from FC Utrecht. Demircan joined Utrecht last summer after leaving Bayern Munich but now heads out to join Telstar for the 2026/2027 Eredivisie season. Telstar have been active this summer as they look to build on a remarkable 2025/2026 campaign in which they defied all the odds to avoid relegation from the Eredivisie.

Demircan never made a first team appearance for Bayern Munich, spending his time at the Bavarian club with their second team. During the 2024/2025 season he played 20 times for Bayern Munich II in the Regionalliga, scoring five goals. Demircan, after leaving Bayern Munich to join Utrecht on a free, played seven games for the first team last season, with the majority of his time spent with Jong Utrecht in the second tier of Dutch football. He had a decent season there, with six goals and two assists in 27 games. He now gets a chance to prove himself in the Eredivisie with Telstar.
