One former Chelsea player has boasted that it took Lionel Messi ten games to score against him, until he was an Arsenal player.

In a quote that Chelsea fans will absolutely love to read this week, former Blues goalkeeper Petr Cech has explained how Messi didn’t score against him for ten games.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea doing background checks on Arsenal star ahead of possible transfer move!

That is some record by the way, a record that I didn’t even know existed. But that is something incredible that Cech has on his footballing CV and something that he will surely never forget.

But when Messi finally did score against the best goalkeeper Chelsea have ever had, it was when he was playing for Arsenal, which I find hilarious, as will every other Chelsea fan!

Messi is the best footballer to ever play the game in my opinion, so Cech can certainly say these quotes whilst boasting about it.

What Cech has said

In quotes picked up by Blue Footy on X, Cech said:

“It took Messi a long time to score against me. Ten matches, to be exact—he finally did it when I was already an Arsenal player.”

Cech will always have his record though, and maybe he should have just stayed at Chelsea and kept it!
