Former Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips says that Estevao Willian is his favourite player out there to watch today.

I believe the question might have been for Premier League players only, but he has selected Estevao as his first favourite, and then chosen four others after him.

It’s a pretty big compliment for a player who has burst onto the scene and shown real signs of having that superstar world class quality once he develops some more and gains consistency across the board.

Wright-Phillips was a fast little winger during his playing days, and he used to love to try and beat a man or two out wide. This is probably why he admires players who do the same, players like Estevao, so much.

Wright-Phillips was recently asked by Goal to name his five favourite players to watch right now and did not hesitate to put Estevao first.

Wright-Phillips completed his list with Kaoru Mitoma, Antoine Semenyo, Crysencio Summerville and Jeremy Doku.

An interesting list of tricky attacking players there.

I just can’t wait for Estevao to start playing more consistently. He might just be the key to Champions League qualification for Chelsea this season!
