A former England international has now named the ‘biggest problem’ for a current Chelsea player in some latest quotes.
There has been a lot of quotes flying around today regarding Chelsea. One former head scout believes Chelsea have no chance of winning the Premier League this season because defensively they are not good enough.
And we all know how much Jamie Carragher loves to hate Chelsea FC, but in his latest quotes speaking about the recruitment not being up to scratch, I actually agree with him for once and think he has made some good points.
Chelsea will want to be getting back to winning ways again in their next two matches, the first one being tonight against League One Lincoln City in The Carabao Cup, in order to get these critics off their backs.
But Rio Ferdinand is not talking about Chelsea on the pitch with his latest comments, he is specifically talking about Raheem Sterling, who has had a real nightmare few years now.

On the latest Rio Ferdinand Presents, the Manchester United legend laid out Sterling’s biggest issue right now, which is his desire to play internationally.
“The biggest problem he’s got is I think he’s still got inspirations to play for England, because he’s only 30,” Ferdinand said on Sterling.
“That’s the bigger thing for him, ‘How can I get back playing, to then get back playing for England?’ I think that’s the way he’ll be thinking about it.
“But again, he’s not going to do it to the detriment of his family to move them about the world.”
For me, I think the bigger issue here is the fact Sterling only seemingly wants to play for clubs in England and in particular, in or around London due to his family all being there.
