Former Man United and Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho linked with Palmeiras in fake transfer story | OneFootball

With the transfer window now closed in both England and Germany, former Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is still searching for a club following the expiry of his contract with Manchester United.

It was reported on Tuesday that the 26-year-old was set to join Brazilian side Palmeiras on a two-year contract, with an option for an additional year.

However, according to reputable Brazilian sports journalist Luiz Carlos Largo, the story was fabricated.

Citing Brazilian sports channel BandSports, Largo stated on X that Palmeiras have moved to deny the rumour, with the Brazilian club describing it as “madness”.

He further stated that the story was created by streamer Spursito, who used a fake account to spread the information.

Sancho was linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund, but the Black and Yellows opted to sign Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri on deadline day instead.

What’s next for the former Bundesliga star remains uncertain.
