Udinese’s Arthur Atta (23) is reportedly set to join Fiorentina, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
This is a major signing for La Viola, who are expected to spend €30m (excluding bonuses) and agree to pay a percentage of any future transfer fee to secure the services of the Rennes-born player.
Having come through the youth academies of Stade Rennais and FC Metz, it was with the Alsatian club that Atta made his professional debut in Ligue 2 in 2022. Initially loaned out, then permanently transferred to Udinese for €8m last summer, the Frenchman adapted very quickly to Serie A.
Initially seen as a second-string player during his first season in Italy – which he nonetheless concluded with 29 appearances for the Bianconeri – Atta used the 2025-26 season to establish himself as an undisputed first-team regular in the Friulian side’s midfield. Starting in 31 of his 34 appearances, the former French Under-20 international has distinguished himself with six goals and four assists across all competitions.
