Several meaningful changes have taken place at Real Madrid in the last few days, and the most significant of these has been the change of the head coach of the team, as Alvaro Arbeloa left and Jose Mourinho arrived to replace him.

After leaving the Merengue club, the Spanish coach has not taken long to find another side willing to bet on him, as he joined the Premier League side Fulham a few weeks ago. With this step, he will be looking to start another chapter in his career, and this stint is going to be very important for him as his first job at the highest level, at Real Madrid, did not go exactly as planned.

In London, Arbeloa is looking to bring some reinforcements to his team before the start of the next season, and has set his sights on several players with whom he worked at the Merengue club. Two such players that he has been interested in are Gonzalo Garcia and Franco Mastantuono.

Now, according to Diario AS, he has asked Fulham to explore the signing of another player from Los Blancos’ ranks, namely, the youngster Cesar Palacios.

The La Fabrica product is currently training under Jose Mourinho with the available first team players, but he is set to leave the Spanish club, although it remains to be seen what his next destination will be.

At the end of May, he was already close to signing a preliminary agreement with the Italian side Como, but the deal ultimately broke down. Porto and Osasuna have also made inquiries about him, but there has been no progress on these fronts either so far.

For now, Cesar Palacios will decide along with Real Madrid what his next destination will be, but if a proposal comes from Fulham, there is no doubt that this would be a highly suitable opportunity for him.
