Former Santos forward Guilherme celebrated the club's 1-0 victory over Corinthians with his family while watching from home in the United States. He shared the moment on social media.
Diario Do Peixe reports that he posted a video of the derby on his television alongside his children, then cheered Christian Oliva's winner and shouted "Vamos, Santos".
In a subsequent story, he also uploaded an old photo of himself celebrating a goal for Santos against Corinthians.
Guilherme left the club in January 2026 to join Houston Dynamo in a permanent move worth around US$ 2 million. He played for Santos from 2024 to 2025, making 94 appearances and scoring 27 goals.
Across those seasons he finished as the team's leading scorer and assist provider in consecutive campaigns. He contributed to the promotion back to Série A of the Campeonato Brasileiro and to the club's survival in the top flight.
The win moved Santos to 29 points, keeping them 14th in the Campeonato Brasileiro. They are five points above the relegation zone and four clear of Vasco, the first side inside the Z-4.
