HLN are reporting that Vincent Janssen may be willing to take less money to remain with Antwerp. The former Spurs striker is coming to the end of his contract with the club but according to the Belgian paper he is looking to remain at the club. In recent weeks the striker, who struggled during his time with Spurs in England, has started to find form again. Janssen has been a key player for Antwerp since joining from Mexican side Monterrey in 2022. So far this season the 31-year-old has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 20 games.

Janssen started his career in Antwerp by winning the double. In the process he scored 21 goals in 45 games. Since then, the former Spurs man has seen his goal tally reduce every season. Last year he managed 13 goals in 39 games, his lowest during his three and a bit seasons with the club. He is a man in form however, with three goals in his last four games alongside two assists.

Janssen has had a varied career since leaving Almere City in 2015. After impressing with AZ he joined Spurs, where he scored six goals in 42 games. After a loan spell in with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, he left Spurs for Mexico and Monterrey. Janssen only scored 24 goals in 93 games before joining Antwerp. Since then he has really found a home in Belgium, with 59 goals in 153 games for the Great Old.
