There are clear signs of a change of direction in FC Bayern’s attacking midfield. While there is little doubt about the future of Harry Kane, there are increasing signs that Nicolas Jackson will no longer play a long-term role. At the same time, those responsible are looking at new options for the period from the summer – without any hectic winter reactions
The most important personnel matter is also the most stable. Harry Kane will not be leaving FC Bayern, Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl leave no doubt about that in the BILD podcast Bayern Insider. Falk stated unequivocally: „Harry Kane does not want to pull out of the clause that expires at the end of January.“ This makes it clear that the Englishman is not planning an early exit. Instead, there will be talks after the season. „Then we will sit down together. He says he’s had enough after the World Cup,“ Falk continued
For Bayern, this means planning security at the highest level. Kane is undisputed in sporting terms, a leading player and goal guarantor. Accordingly, those responsible „strongly assume that he will stay“

The situation is completely different with Nicolas Jackson. The attacker has been able to make his mark on occasion, but has not lived up to expectations in the long term. Altschäffl assesses the situation soberly: „A lot would have to happen for him to stay.“ Although Jackson has „scored a few goals“, they were „not sensational“
The assessment was particularly clear with regard to the contractual framework conditions. „I would say that with Jackson, there is little chance of Bayern pulling out the 65 million clause,“ Altschäffl clarified. Those responsible simply do not see any sporting added value for this sum. With the return of Jamal Musiala and the rise of Lennart Karl, the competition is also intensifying
Instead of reacting in the winter, the focus is on the future. In the podcast, the name Franculino Djú from FC Midtjylland was brought up again. The 21-year-old is considered a serious option for the time after Jackson. „It has been confirmed… FC Bayern is one of several clubs interested in him,“ said Falk. The striker’s market value is „20 to 25 million“, which makes him much more attractive compared to Jackson
Bayern were already interested in Franculino in the summer of 2025, but Midtjylland only wanted to sell the striker at the time, while Bayern insisted on a loan. According to consistent reports, Bayern are continuing to scout the attacker very intensively.
