The Cypriot U21 international is moving from Eintracht Frankfurt to join Borussia Dortmund’s U23s in the third division.

The 20-year-old midfielder had spent the last two years on loan at Bundesliga 2 side Hannover 96, making a total of 19 appearances for them in all competitions and registering one goal and two assists. He also played nine times for Hannover’s reserves in the Regionalliga Nord (nine goals and two assists).

Foti joined Eintracht in January 2020 from Omonia Nikosia, going on to feature in four U17 Bundesliga and 23 U19 Bundesliga matches. The attacking midfielder caught the eye during the 2021/22 season, scoring 17 goals and setting up another six in 19 U19 Bundesliga appearances, with the team missing out on the regional title at the end of the season by a single point.
