One of the main items on the agenda for the FC Barcelona Sporting Department going forward must be the addition of a new competent center-forward to the team, especially as Robert Lewandowski is already 37 years of age, and is already in the last year of his contract.

The Catalans have been linked with several high-profile names to replace the Pole in their squad, and in this regard, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona have sent scouts to Germany to observe two players from two of the biggest Bundesliga clubs in particular.

One of these players is Serhou Guirassy, who was the joint top-scorer of the UCL last season, along with Raphinha. The 29-year-old forward is valued at around €100 million, but in his contract with Borussia Dortmund, there is a clause that will allow him to move to clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid for €65 million.

The second player is Harry Kane, who is having a wonderful season for Bayern Munich at 32 years of age, and the Blaugrana club will have to pay an amount similar to Guirassy to get him in their team.

Meanwhile, the Catalans have also been monitoring center-backs from these two teams. Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck is an interesting candidate for the Blaugranes, as his contract is ending in 2027, but he is reluctant to renew. Meanwhile, Bayern’s Dayot Upamecano can be signed for free this summer, and is a target for Barcelona as well.
