Globo.com reports that four players have worn the Corinthians captain’s armband in the first half of 2026, with Rodrigo Garro taking the role most often.

Garro captained in 20 matches, with Gustavo Henrique doing so in 14.

Under Fernando Diniz, Garro has regularly resumed captaincy. During Dorival Júnior’s tenure, the Argentine typically received the armband only when Gustavo Henrique was not on the pitch.

Hugo Souza captained twice, while André Ramalho did so once.

Corinthians have played 37 matches this season, recording 16 wins, 11 draws and 10 defeats. They have scored 41 goals and conceded 31, a 53.1% points return.

Diniz’s side are next in action on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time, in a friendly against Cascavel in Cascavel.
