The summer transfer window is not over just yet, and FC Barcelona want to make the most of it. However, with a limited spending budget and salaries that need to be cleared, the Catalan giants have a lot of work to do. To ensure that they do it timely, Barcelona should starting treating matters with urgency.

At the moment, there is a clear understanding that a new arrival might end up being delayed as the club’s first priority is to ensure departures. Once that gets wrapped up, there would be more clarity about what is feasible for the club and whether or not they can pursue their desired targets.

However, despite wanting to treat these operations with caution, there are certain exit-bound players at the club who have some unfortunate situations. At the moment, Mundo Deportivo reports that there are four operations in particular that require Barça’s attention.

The first of those operations, and arguably the most complex one, is that of German goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. No longer in the team’s plans for next season, he will not be a starter nor would he even be the back-up option in the upcoming season.

However, reports have suggested that his agent is already looking at potential destinations just in case. As for Barcelona, they know that they have to resolve this complex program, but if it takes time he might just travel with the team for the preseason tour alongside the other goalkeepers.

Another player who definitely does not have a future in mind at Barcelona is Inaki Pena. The Spaniard believes that it is time to move, but still remains committed to his contractual duties. However, while there have been some offers that have come his way as per the report, none of them seemed to satisfy him. Yet, he remains open to negotiations and that remains true regardless of the delays.

Similarly, the case of Oriol Romeu is clear as well. The Spanish midfielder has returned from Girona and is still expected to leave this summer. However, if a satisfactory suitor does not end up arriving or showing up, Barcelona might just be open to mutually terminating his contract.

Lastly, the situation of Pau Victor needs to be addressed urgently as well. The Spaniard would be open to a move if it means more playing time, and with four years still left on his contract, Barcelona think a loan move would be best for the young forward. Moreover, with Barça targeting another forward this summer, his opportunities next season will be extremely limited. Interestingly, Girona are reportedly keeping tabs on both Victor and Romeu for now.
