Four months after the deadly fire in Crans-Montana, Metz defender Tahirys Dos Santos, 19, has been back at the club’s facilities for a training session as he continues rehabilitation. He posted a picture with a ball at his feet on Instagram on Wednesday.

L'Équipe reports that he suffered third-degree burns in the blaze at the bar Le Constellation on New Year’s Day.

He was burned across large areas of his body, including the back of his skull, and has undergone a skin graft. He must avoid unprotected exposure to sunlight for at least one year.

Dos Santos is among 115 people seriously injured when a nightclub was ravaged during New Year celebrations. The fire claimed 41 lives, most of them minors.

His girlfriend, Coline, also survived, having spent three weeks in a coma.
