Four teams including Everton interested in Juventus attacker

There is a market for Edon Zhegrova this summer as Juventus look to offload the attacker, who struggled at the club last season, but he wants to stay in Turin.

Zhegrova joined Juve as one of the finest attackers on the continent, and he was a wanted man when he was at Lille, so Juve were proud to have won the race for his signature. Although he arrived as an injury-prone player, Juve still expected him to be one of their main contributors last season, but that is not what happened as he struggled to stay fit.

He also missed a glorious chance against Galatasaray that ended Juve’s Champions League progress last season, making it a terrible first year at the club. As a result, they now want him to leave.

Zhegrova attracts transfer interest

His stunning goal against Chelsea in pre-season has made several clubs interested in a move for him, with Tuttojuve revealing that Monaco, Lens, Everton and Crystal Palace are all following the attacker.

The goal appears to have reminded potential suitors of the quality that made Zhegrova such a highly regarded player before his move to Juventus. Despite his difficult first season, several clubs now appear willing to consider giving him another opportunity.

Juventus hope to sell attacker

Zhegrova has proven to them that he could be a fine signing if any of them agree on a deal to add him to their squad in this window. Juventus hope they can move past his struggles during his first season at the club and push to sell the Kosovar star.

However, Zhegrova wants to remain in Turin, which could make Juventus’ plans more complicated. The attacker will need to convince the club that he can contribute more consistently if he wants to stay, particularly after a first season that failed to meet expectations.

Juventus now have to balance their desire to offload him with the possibility that he could still become an important player. Interest from Monaco, Lens, Everton and Crystal Palace gives the club potential options, but Zhegrova’s preference to stay means his future remains uncertain.
