According to L'Équipe, Fox Sports is seeking a sports fan to watch all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup from a glass cube in New York's Times Square. The role pays 50,000 dollars.
The advert, posted on Indeed and flagged in a video on X on Tuesday, promotes the position as a dream job titled Chief World Cup Watcher.

The successful candidate is set to start on 6 June, and must film themselves and produce match content for the network's social channels.
The glass booth will be highly visible to thousands of passers-by, with plans for top celebrities and sporting greats to drop in to watch a match.
Fox Sports holds US rights to the 2026 tournament, which runs from 11 June to 19 July. The 50,000 dollar fee is approximately 42,500 euros.
