The Federação Paulista de Futebol confirmed on Wednesday the eight teams for the 2026 Paulistão Feminino, with Corinthians among the participants.

They will compete alongside AD Taubaté, Ferroviária, Mirassol, Palmeiras, Red Bull Bragantino, Santos and São Paulo. Mirassol are the headline addition, entering their first season and replacing Realidade Jovem.

The 29th edition is scheduled to run from May to December, in line with the national women’s calendar. The competition’s technical council meets on Thursday at 14:00 at Edifício Pelé, the FPF headquarters.

Club selection followed the Campeonato Paulista licensing regulations, which assess administrative, sporting and infrastructure criteria.

Last season the eight sides played home and away, with the top four reaching the semi-finals. Corinthians, holders of four titles, finished runners-up for the second year in a row to Palmeiras.

Emily Lima’s team return to action on Monday, 23, in the fourth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, hosting América Mineiro at 21:00 at Neo Química Arena.
