Another strong performance from Brentford on Sunday saw the 10-man Bees take the lead over third-placed Aston Villa and secure three points.
Dango Ouattara (£5.8m) scored the only goal of the game when his attempt at squaring the ball to Igor Thiago (£7.1m) was blocked, allowing him to recover by firing into the far corner.
For a brief moment, it looked like Villa had equalised through debutant Tammy Abraham (£6.0m). He tapped in a rebound from close range, but it was ruled out because the ball had gone out of play in the build-up.
The only negative was Kevin Schade’s (£7.1m) red card, which will see him miss the next three matches.
With such a superbly fought shutout, it’s unsurprising to discover that two players picked up defensive contribution rewards. Two extra points for Kristoffer Ajer (£4.4m) and Vitaly Janelt (£4.9m), based on clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher (£4.6m) had to face a huge number of Villa shots, saving five of them, including an early one-on-one versus Abraham.
Over the last eight Gameweeks, no stopper beats his 50 points, gained from four clean sheets, three double-digit hauls and two penalty saves. No team has conceded fewer goals in this period (seven).

The 27-year-old is currently the fourth-highest scoring goalkeeper, where the leading three all cost at least £5.0m. So Kelleher could be a very shrewd purchase for FPL managers.
Those using their Wildcard chip before Gameweek 25 might like to know that Brentford’s fixtures not only rotate well with Chelsea over the next eight rounds, but also dovetail nicely with Bournemouth’s between now and the season’s climax.
The first bunch of Gameweek 24 matches brought big news to Bukayo Saka’s (£10.0m) owners. A real frustration to own in recent times, he had to pull out during Arsenal’s warm-up. So, in stepped Noni Madueke (£6.8m) to assist the opener, then spectacularly score a corner kick.
His hour of action secured 14 points, one more than Casemiro (£5.5m), Alex Scott (£5.0m) and Hugo Ekitike (£8.8m). The latter responded to 500,000 sales by netting twice past Newcastle United. In fact, over the last four Gameweeks, he’s been ditched over two million times.
Joining Ekitike on two goals is Dominic Solanke (£7.2m) - including one stunning ‘scorpion kick’ -whereas German duo Florian Wirtz (£8.3m) and Pascal Gross (£5.5m) were able to rack up 12 points.
Elsewhere, João Pedro (£7.4m) came on at half-time and just fell short of those numbers. That’s two successive appearances where he’s both scored and assisted, explaining his popularity, though the initial benching shows how risky such a purchase could be over Chelsea’s upcoming schedule.
Fighting on four fronts, team-mate Enzo Fernández (£6.8m) seems a more secure starter and made it four goals in six with his dramatic comeback winner against West Ham United.
Predictably, near-namesake Bruno Fernandes (£9.6m) continues to be acquired by many. The most-bought individual for both Gameweeks 23 and 24, his four outings since the return from injury have delivered five assists and 32 points.
Well done to those who captained Fernandes over Erling Haaland (£15.0m) at the weekend. It’s now one goal and one assist in seven matches for FPL’s most expensive player.
The Norwegian has a tough trip to Liverpool up next, although he scored in Gameweek 11’s reverse meeting.
Perhaps this could be another good time to go against him. Many will turn to Fernandes versus Tottenham Hotspur, but backing a Chelsea attacker at Wolverhampton Wanderers could pay dividends, and there’s also Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) against Burnley.
