Can France be stopped?

As we shut down for the evening, let us know in the comments if you feel as though this is a debate that the footballing world is ready for...

Is this France's summer?

One can never be sure, but this sums up just how good they have become.

FULL TIME: FRANCE 2-0 MOROCCO

France are edging towards a third World Cup final in succession after making short work of Morocco in the second half. It wasn't pretty until the six-minute blitz, but Didier Deschamps' men are the first team into the last four.

CHANCE!

Olisie arrives on the righthand side of the box and curls a shot just to the left of Bounou's far post.

CHANCE!

Morocco win a corner which Talbi sends in for Hakimi, who heads it into the side netting.

This is a really incredible coincidence

Mbappé's game is over as he's withdrawn with a slight knock as Mateta replaces him.

GOAL! FRANCE 2-0 MOROCCO

Surely game over now? Dembélé doubles Les Bleus' lead in the space of six minutes.

GOAL! FRANCE 1-0 MOROCCO

It's not been his game until now but Mbappé makes up for his earlier misses with a superb strike by picking his spot in the far lefthand corner.

CHANCE!

That one was closer! Olise tees up Mbappé in the box with Bounou advancing but the captain blazes his effort over. His embarrassment is slightly saved by being in an offside position, although that's not much consolation.

CHANCE!

Still very much hit-and-hope from France as Doué tries to test Bounou but it's ambitious at best

SECOND HALF

Off we go again. Will there be a winner before the end of 90 minutes?

It was an unusually poor showing from Les Bleus in front of goal

HALF TIME - FRANCE 0-0 MOROCCO

A strange end to the opening 45 minutes in Boston as Didier Deschamps' side should have made their dominance count but couldn't find a way past Bounou - even from the penalty spot.

CHANCE!

Into five added minutes at the end of the half, Digne decides to try his luck with a flying effort which clips the crossbar

CHANCE!

It's that man again as Bounou produces another low stop to deny Doué at his righthand post.

What a record the Morocco stopper has from 12 yards, by the way!

CHANCE!

Back to the action as Dembélé goes for the spectacular with a long-range drive but opens his body up a little too much and sends the effort soaring off target.

We've hit the game's first hydration break and it's probably come at a good time for both nations. Mbappé is livid at the three-minute delay between his penalty being awarded and being taken but the Real Madrid man's kick was still poor.

MISSED!

Mbappé stutters his run-up and Bounou guesses correctly to save down to his left.

PENALTY TO FRANCE!

Right before the hydration break, we could be set for an opener as Mazraoui takes down Mbappé in the area.

CHANCE!

France still the dominant side with Doué picking out Dembélé in the box but his header is off target.

CHANCE!

Mbappé has the first attempt of the game as he sends a bouncing effort from range which Bounou parries away for a corner before the set piece sees the Morocco 'keeper called into action again to deny Upamecano's header.

KICK OFF

The wait is over and we're officially underway in Boston.

France and Morocco will do battle at Boston Stadium in a rematch of the 2022 semi-final, and here's how teams are lining up for their latest meeting.
