France will start Manu Koné, Bradley Barcola and Lucas Digne against Iraq at the World Cup, kick-off 23:00. They are the only three changes from the 3-1 win over Senegal.

According to L'Équipe, Barcola is preferred to Désiré Doué on the left in a 4-2-3-1, Koné replaces Aurélien Tchouaméni alongside Adrien Rabiot, and Digne gets the nod over Theo Hernandez at left-back.

Captain Kylian Mbappé leads the line on his 100th cap. Michael Olise operates as No 10 with Ousmane Dembélé on the right, the pair switching roles from the Senegal opener.

France XI: Maignan in goal, Koundé, Upamecano, Saliba and Digne in defence, M. Koné with Rabiot in midfield, O. Dembélé, Olise and Barcola behind Mbappé, the captain.

For Iraq, Graham Arnold also makes three changes from the 1-4 defeat to Norway. Ahmed Basil replaces Jalal Hassan in goal for his 16th appearance, Zidane Iqbal starts for Ali Jasim, and Ahmad Qasim comes in for Ali Al Hamadi up front.
