Didier Deschamps has promised that there will be changes to the side that beat Israel 4-1 in Budapest on Thursday as they prepare to face Belgium in the UEFA Nations League.
Whilst Mike Maignan and Aurélien Tchouaméni missed training as a precaution on Saturday, it is thought that both will be fit enough to face Belgium. The latter will captain France once again, should he start, as confirmed by Deschamps. Manu Koné was suspended on Thursday but he may return to the line-up alongside Tchouaméni.
Another returnee, Marcus Thuram, who missed out with a minor injury, is also expected to start. He will lead the line for France, with Bradley Barcola on his left and Ousmane Dembélé on his right. Christopher Nkunku and Michael Olise may both drop to the bench with Mattéo Guendouzi coming in in the No.10 role.
One of the big question marks surrounds the centre-back pairing. William Saliba is expected to start, however, his partner remains unclear. Wesley Fofana may get the nod over Ibrahima Konaté.
Mike Maignan; Lucas Digne, William Saliba, Wesley Fofana, Jules Koundé; Aurélien Tchouaméni, Manu Koné; Bradley Barcola, Mattéo Guendouzi, Ousmane Dembélé; Marcus Thuram.
