France can secure their spot at the FIFA World Cup 2026 if they are able to defeat Ukraine on Thursday night in a crucial European qualifier. Three points will confirm their place and secure the top spot in their group.

N’Golo Kanté has returned to the squad and is likely to be handed a start, with Eduardo Camavinga a potential doubt for the fixture with a hamstring injury
