France’s players and the federation have reached agreement on bonuses for the 2026 World Cup, ahead of their 16 June opener against Senegal. According to Le Progres, the deal followed several weeks of negotiations.

From the round of 16, the players will begin receiving a bonus that will rise as they progress, and would be slightly above 500,000 euros if they win the tournament. The per-match figure has not been disclosed.

They have also agreed the ticket allocation for the players for matches in the United States during the tournament.

The squad, represented by captain Kylian Mbappé, accepted an amended proposal from FFF president Philippe Diallo before departing for Boston.

The federation will provide four complimentary tickets per player per match. This is a smaller allocation than in 2022 in Qatar, due to the high price of tickets for the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
