Marcus Thuram is aiming to return to fitness for Inter Milan in next weekend’s Serie A match against Roma.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Frenchman will be out against Bologna and AC Milan.
Yesterday, Inter Milan confirmed that striker Marcus Thuram has suffered a muscle injury.
The 27-year-old looks to be the major casualty from the exhausting Champions League match against Bayern Munich in midweek. He has suffered some muscular fatigue in his left thigh.
Thuram has not suffered a major injury, and should be back soon enough. However, he will still need adequate time to recover.

Clearly, Marcus Thuram will be unavailable for tomorrow’s Serie A match away to Roma.
Moreover, it is not likely that the Frenchman will rush back to fitness for Inter’s next match.
On Wednesday, the Nerazzurri face city rivals AC Milan for the fifth time this season. The two derby rivals will play the second leg of a Coppa Italia semifinal tie.
And according to the Gazzetta, Thuram is unlikely to play any role in that match.
However, reports the Gazzetta, the former Borussia Monchengladbach striker should be available for the following match.
Next Monday, Inter host Roma in Serie A. And according to the Gazzetta, Thuram is aiming to be in the squad for that match.
