France v Italy: kick-off time and how to watch the Nations League tie | OneFootball

France face Italy in the Nations League at the Stade de France on Friday at 20:45, their first game there in over a year. According to L'Équipe, the third group match is a sell-out. It will be shown live on TF1.

The fixture pits Les Bleus against a nation central to Zinédine Zidane’s career. France have done the basics so far, beating Türkiye 1-0 and Belgium 1-0, the second win coming with a 90 percent changed side averaging 14.3 caps.

Italy’s situation is contrasting. Absent from the last three World Cups, the four-time champions remain mired in a long-running crisis and Mancini’s return to the helm, plus a 4-1 win in Türkiye, has not lifted tifosi spirits.

Third in the group on 3 points, Italy need victory to close the gap in the standings.

This will be the 42nd meeting between the neighbours, and the overall record still favours Italy, with 20 wins to France’s 13.

Date Friday 2 October 2026, Stade de France, kick-off 20:45, live on TF1.
