Francesco Farioli on signing: “I don’t see him ready to start”

FC Porto travel to face Casa Pia in Rio Maior, and Francesco Farioli previewed the sixth round Primeira Liga match this Friday. The Italian coach revealed that Seko Fofana is not expected to be in the starting eleven:

“Seko Fofana? About Seko, I’ll say the same as I said about Santi. He arrived in the final days of the transfer window and came from Rennes with an injury, and he had a very short summer. He is a very physical player, he needs to be match-fit, and I don’t see him being ready to start. The international break will be crucial for him to get back to the level he was at during last season.”
