Cameroonian MMA star Francis Ngannou has placed a €15,000 bet on the Indomitable Lions to win AFCON 2025.
According to L'Équipe, he revealed in a Facebook post on Monday that he staked nearly 10 million CFA francs on Cameroon lifting the trophy.

A Cameroon triumph under David Pagou, appointed head coach in early December after Marc Brys was dismissed, could net Ngannou €320,000. For context, his October 2023 fight with Tyson Fury earned about €9.1 million.
The wager underlines his belief in the national team.
He will no doubt keep a close eye on Cameroon’s opener against Gabon this Wednesday at 21:00.
