Despite OGC Nice’s return run of poor form, Franck Haise’s job at the club is not under threat, according to a report from L’Équipe.
Nice are struggling this season. After finishing fourth last time around, qualifying for the preliminary rounds of the UEFA Champions League, there has been a sharp dropoff. The club are yet to earn a single point from their first four European games of the season, whilst in the league, they are on a three-game losing streak. Those defeats have come against Paris Saint-Germain, FC Metz, and Olympique de Marseille.
The latest defeat was at the hands of OM (5-1) and was described as a “spanking” by Nice’s Sofiane Diop. Ordinarily, such a run would see the manager come under pressure, but that is not the case for Haise. His work, as well as that of the staff, is still praised internally, as per L’Équipe.
Instead of looking at the manager, the club are already preparing for the January transfer window.
