Franck Raviot to assess Mike Maignan and Jean Butez at AC Milan v Como

France goalkeeper coach Franck Raviot will be at San Siro on Wednesday night for the Serie A match between AC Milan, second, and Como, seventh, to watch his first-choice goalkeeper Mike Maignan and run the rule over Jean Butez.

According to L'Équipe, Butez is enjoying an impressive season with Como after joining in January 2025.

The former Lille keeper has yet to be called up by France, and is increasingly on the staff’s radar as Lucas Chevalier struggles with PSG and Alphonse Areola has lost his starting spot at West Ham.

Raviot is then due at Stade Bollaert on Saturday to assess Robin Risser during Lens v Monaco.

Risser leads Ligue 1 for clean sheets this season with nine, level with Lyon’s Dominik Greif and Lucas Chevalier.
