Frank confident Spurs star will be available for Brentford clash | OneFootball

Thomas Frank says he is optimistic that midfielder Lucas Bergvall will be available for the game against Brentford on Thursday.

Bergvall was forced off through injury in the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace.

And while the Spurs boss says there is a “small doubt” over his availability, he says he is “quite positive” he will be able to feature.

Cristian Romero is also available following his suspension for the red card he received against Liverpool.

The Argentine could yet miss more games after being charged by the FA with “allegedly acting in an improper manner by failing to promptly leave the field of play and/or behaving in a confrontational and/or aggressive manner towards the match referee”.

But Frank says the club will find out Romero’s fate after the game against Brentford, meaning he is available for the clash.

There are no new injury concerns for Spurs, with everyone that took part against Crystal Palace set to be available again.

Destiny Udogie has also stepped up his recovery from the hamstring injury which continues to keep him out.
