Frankfurt and Leverkusen 'to track' Racing Santander’s Jorge Salinas, with Barcelona and PSG monitoring

AS reports that Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in 19-year-old Racing Santander defender Jorge Salinas, who could take the next step this summer.

Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United are also monitoring the defender.

Salinas helped Santander to promotion in the 2025-26 season. Typically a left-back but comfortable at centre half, he made 33 appearances and supplied six assists.

For Leverkusen or Frankfurt, he would represent a promising addition.

His contract contains a release clause whose value varies with contractual factors. It is believed to range between €4 million and €16 million.
