Eintracht Frankfurt’s board member for sport, Markus Krösche, is said to be on AC Milan’s shortlist as the Serie A club look for a new sporting director after a wave of dismissals. According to BuLi News, this follows the rejection of Austria’s national coach Ralf Rangnick.
The Italian club are assessing leading candidates for a management role, with Krösche among those under consideration.
Krösche is under contract with Eintracht until 2028, and the club are keen to extend his deal.
Should Milan open talks and persuade him to move, the situation could become difficult for Frankfurt.
His exit shortly before the transfer window opens would represent a major setback for the Hessen side.
He has resolved the coaching situation after Albert Riera’s dismissal, paving the way for Adi Hütter’s return.
