Bundesliga sides have traditionally had an eye for a Paris Saint-Germain youngster, and Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to lure another one to Germany, Florian Plettenberg understands.
Mathis Jangéal (17) has recently made a breakthrough at his formative club, PSG. Having featured in matchday squads, he recently made his first-team debut, coming off the bench in a 2-0 win over AJ Auxerre.
That appearance came at the end of September; he has not featured since. The attacking midfielder’s deal at PSG runs out at the end of the season, and the club are working towards tying him to a new deal. However, it is Plettenberg’s understanding that the France youth international is favouring a departure, as he looks to secure more first-team football, in order to aid his development.
Plettenberg adds that Eintracht Frankfurt are very interested in Jangéal, but they are not alone, with several unnamed German rivals also in contention.
