Eintracht Frankfurt have overtaken Borussia Dortmund in Europe’s latest matchday revenue rankings, a notable boost for the Hessen club. According to BuLi News, recent figures place Frankfurt ahead of their Bundesliga rivals on ticket income.
Dortmund’s sell-outs at Signal Iduna Park, often above 80,000, remain a strength. Yet revenue also depends on pricing and hospitality, not only turnstile numbers.
Frankfurt’s rise reflects engaged support and growing commercial pull, lifting income at Deutsche Bank Park above Dortmund’s.
Across the continent, Paris Saint-Germain charge among Europe’s highest prices, with average costs up to five times those in Dortmund, helping drive strong returns.
Real Madrid lead with €222 million, with Arsenal on €183 million and PSG €175 million completing the top three. Bayern are 7th on €147 million, while Stuttgart sit 17th with €68 million, Frankfurt 22nd on €58 million and BVB 24th with €55 million.
Matchday takings remain vital for investment in squads, stadiums and academies. For Frankfurt, passing a traditional heavyweight signals financial momentum and possible competitive intent.
