Davide Frattesi’s loan move to Lazio, initially halted by Lega Serie A, is back on after the clubs adjusted the terms, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

After brief talks, an accord was reached on Thursday for the 26-year-old to return to his original club on loan with an option to buy for 215 million, plus an obligation tied to appearances and a top 10 finish, and a 50% sell-on clause.

Alfredo Pedullà and Di Marzio reported that Lega Serie A blocked the deal over the liquidity index. Lazio, having failed to meet the 70% cost ratio, are restricted to a net-zero window, so new signings must be funded by sales.

Di Marzio suggested removing the obligation to buy, as the current formula was treated like a permanent transfer for accounting purposes. Damiano Er Faina said Inter president Giuseppe Marotta stayed in constant contact with Lazio to find a swift solution, while another route was to raise funds by offloading players.

Di Marzio now says Inter have dropped the obligation, with Lazio increasing the loan fee to 25 million and setting the option to buy at 10 million, keeping the overall package at 215 million. Pedullà adds the midfielder is expected to travel to Rome imminently.
