Former USA international Freddy Adu has had his say on being cut by Swedish outfit Osterlen FF.
Adu, formerly of Monaco, was released by OFF this week amid complaints about his fitness and weight from coach Agim Sopi.
Adu told Fotbollskanalen: "With respect, I do not agree. I do not know what's going on or why he does not like me.
"I understand that as a coach you want control, it's your team. But it was not he who brought me here, it was other people. I love my teammates and have gotten to know everyone else.
"If you talk to one of my teammates, I'm sure everyone's saying we get along well. I have not had any problems with anyone.
"Agim got angry that I was injured. He more or less said that I would train even if I was injured, it was more like a threat, that if I did not train I would not be part of the team."
