Frédéric Guilbert has left Lecce after agreeing an amicable contract termination on Friday.
He joined the Italian club in summer 2024 and made 30 appearances last season. The defender had been contracted until June 2026.

He did not play at all this season. He was excluded from the first-team group and used a lawyer to secure a return to training in autumn.
The 31-year-old will no longer wear the red and yellow of Lecce.
In his farewell, he thanked those he worked with and highlighted supporters for their constant presence and support, even during confusing times. He signed off by thanking almost everyone, hinting at unresolved disagreements with his former bosses.
