Anyone with the first name Jude can ride the Stourbridge Shuttle free this week between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, West Midlands Railway is running the offer from Monday 13 July to Sunday 19 July, the day of the World Cup final, and passengers must show valid ID.
The gesture celebrates Jude Bellingham, 23, who was born in Stourbridge and came through the local junior ranks. He has scored six goals at the 2026 World Cup so far, including the two that secured England’s quarter-final win over Norway on Saturday 11 July.
The operator framed the move as a celebration of the town’s most famous footballing son and England’s progress.
The operator is backing England as the tournament reaches its final stages, praising Bellingham’s outstanding performances and encouraging fans to cheer the Three Lions in Wednesday’s semi-final and, hopefully, the final.
