French league confirms 2026-27 transfer window dates

The Ligue de football professionnel announced on Thursday the transfer window dates for 2026-27. The summer market will run from 15 June to one September, closing at 19:59, and the winter window from one January 2027 to one February, also at 19:59.

The domestic season is not yet finished, with the Coupe de France final between Lens and Nice on Friday at 21:00.

Ligue 1 play-offs will then pit Nice against Saint-Étienne on 26 and 29 May, before the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal on 30 May.

The World Cup will run until 19 July. By then, the French summer window will already have been open for one month and four days.

Last year, the summer market opened on one June, brought forward because of FIFA’s Club World Cup.
