According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the San Siro giants desperately need defensive reinforcements.

Inter Milan made a major defensive signing on deadline day, bringing Manuel Akanji on loan from Manchester City.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri intend to activate a buyout clause in their loan agreement with the Cityzens next summer.

However, Akanji’s arrival will not be enough to shore up Inter’s defensive woes.
