Dan and Ryan Friedkin are ready to meet with Gian Piero Gasperini.
Roma’s new era is about to begin, with the coach at the center of the Giallorossi project.
The agenda is long, but the owners’ presence in the capital sends a powerful message: it’s time for decisions, it’s time to plan the future together.
There will be many issues to address: choosing a sporting director, given Gasperini’s comments about Massara (“There’s no technical chemistry”), and organizing the transfer market, including incoming and outgoing signings.
As for a sporting director, the list is still open: Manna, D’Amico, and Sogliano are the candidates the owners are monitoring.
The topic of capital gains remains a hot topic at Roma. This chapter must be closed by June 30th. After that, they can focus primarily on acquisitions, and therefore on the budget and investments that can be made.
The Friedkins’ goal is clear: to build a Roma team ever closer to Gasperini’s vision.
As Corriere dello Sport reports, the Texans will land in the capital this weekend to lay the groundwork for next season.
The upcoming meetings will also discuss the situation surrounding the future stadium in Pietralata, the centenary, Totti’s return to the club, and who knows, perhaps the addition of other management figures. In short, Trigoria will be the laboratory where Gasperini’s new Roma will be born.
