Liverpool will face off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Thursday night as they look to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by Fulham recently, so they would be desperate to get back to winning ways in midweek.
Arne Slot will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one tweak to his first team for this game. Jeremie Frimpong could get a chance to play from the start of this clash, while Alexis Mac Allister makes way for him and drops to the bench.
Alisson Becker will function in goal for the Reds after conceding two goals in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk once again as they hope to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Conor Bradley will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez keeps his place on the other side as the left-back. Slot will instruct both his full-backs to perform their defensive duties before trying to offer some support to the front players.
Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Curtis Jones will anchor the midfield along with Ryan Gravenberch as they focus on making life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong will play just ahead of them as part of Slot’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if they are to cause some problems for the Arsenal centre-backs this Thursday night.
Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Florian Wirtz will spearhead Liverpool‘s attack up top. He has to find a way to make some quick runs behind the opponent’s backline.
Hugo Ekitike is a major doubt for this game as he continues to recover from a muscle problem. However, Federico Chiesa will be named on the bench as he awaits his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the contest if required.
