The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has once again stepped up to put a stop to rumors suggesting that national team coach Walid Regragui has resigned.

No resignation for Regragui, Federation confirms

In an official statement, the federation firmly denied any split with the Moroccan coach, after reports circulated in recent days, especially following the Atlas Lions’ defeat in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

"The Royal Moroccan Football Federation denies the reports suggesting a separation with national team coach Mr. Walid Regragui," the statement reads.

Despite ongoing speculation, the FRMF assures that Walid Regragui is continuing his mission at the helm of the national team as usual, as preparations ramp up for the next major challenges, particularly the 2026 World Cup scheduled from June 11 to July 19.
