According to O Jogo, Victor Froholdt’s strike against Stuttgart has been nominated as the best goal from the Europa League round-of-16 second legs.

The Denmark international came on as a substitute for FC Porto and smashed in a precise, powerful finish to seal a 2-0 win.

The result confirmed Porto’s progress to the next stage, where they will face Nottingham Forest.

Other contenders include Amrabat, who scored in Betis’s 4-0 win over Panathinaikos, and Yates, who helped Vítor Pereira’s side eliminate Midtjylland.

Rowe, of Bologna, is also in contention after a 4-3 extra-time victory away to Roma.
